Abyssal Forge: Ludra is the first raid of Season 1, for 10 players in two parties of 5, from item level 2,800. The run opens at a reactor, then each party takes one of the two named bosses, and everyone meets again for Eternal Ludra, a two-phase fight of jump ropes, orbs and a safe cell that has to be found. Only one kill of Ludra counts each week, so it pays to know the fight before the pull.
The raid opens on global on 4 November 2026, in normal mode from item level 2,800 and in hard mode from 3,000. It comes with new mechanics, so check each attack on your first runs. This guide covers normal mode and will be updated once the raid is open.
Route and the two parties
- At the entrance, attack the Central Abyss Fusion Reactor. A message announces an auxiliary reactor on the left, on the right and in the centre, one after another, and while one stands the central reactor gets tougher. A few players ride the updrafts up to break each one while the rest keep hitting the centre.
- Breaking the central reactor opens the portal to the bosses.
- The first party takes Isolation Specialist Rahu and the second party Abyssal Wings Ketu.
- Both parties come together for Eternal Ludra.
Isolation Specialist Rahu
His attacks come in this order as his health drops. The bomb and the last attack can leave black holes on the floor, and three of them wipe the party, so the whole fight is about not leaving them behind.
- Narrow safe zone: Rahu charges up, a narrow safe zone opens and one player is marked with a red area attack. That player keeps the red area off the safe zone, moving from side to side, and dodges into the safe zone the moment it locks in place.
- Bomb: one player carries a bomb, with a purple ring around them that fills as time runs out. If nobody stands next to them when it ends, it leaves a black hole. If someone does, the bomb moves to that player instead, so keep passing it until it is gone.
- Red circles: every player gets a red circle, and a purple attack then hits everything outside them. Stack in one spot so the circles overlap.
- Thrown to the edges: Rahu throws everyone to the edge of the arena and keeps casting area attacks. Run back in and group up to take them together. Afterwards each player gets a puddle that stays on the floor, so drop yours along the edge.
- Quadrants: Rahu splits the arena into four, charges a player and drops puddles again. Place them tight against the outer edge and fight on in the space that is left.
- Feeding time: Rahu moves to the centre, the quadrants vanish and four devourers rise around the arena. He aims an attack at one player, who lines it up so it hits the devourers. Each one it misses adds a black hole, so it is better to take the hit than to miss.
Abyssal Wings Ketu
- Slam: Ketu marks a player above the head, charges and slams them. As he pulls his weapon free a ring sweeps the floor, so jump over it.
- Hide and seek: a laser comes first from the 6 o’clock side of the minimap. Dodge it, then split into two groups, left and right of 6 o’clock, and work up towards 12 o’clock killing the spirits. A white area closes in, so gather in the centre. Then stand on the sigil that appears and heal through Ketu’s attack until it ends.
- Falling orbs: two orbs fall from the sky. Two players catch them, one each, before they land.
- Blue and red orbs: from about half health, an orb gets ready to burst. Turn your back on a blue one and face a red one.
- Power burst: Ketu aims a fan-shaped attack at every player and soul stones rise across the arena. Group up so the fans overlap, and step out of them when they lock, about 5 seconds before the end. Then an attack hits everyone and cannot be dodged. Breaking a soul stone just before it gives a few seconds of invulnerability, so leave one for the healer.
Eternal Ludra
Ludra goes berserk after 10 minutes. The fight has two phases, and the grid comes in both.
First phase
- Jump rope: when Ludra stomps, a purple ring sweeps out across the floor. Jump over it. Depending on the side you stand, it takes one jump or two.
- Orbs: blue orbs and one red orb appear. Anyone can take the blue ones. The red one, in front of his head, explodes unless the player who takes it has a defensive skill active, such as Focused Block (Gladiator), Shield of Protection (Templar), Focused Defense (Chanter) or Evasion Stance (Assassin).
- Puddles on every player: after a stomp, a puddle drops where each player stands. Keep apart so they do not land on top of each other.
- The grid: a grid of cells covers the floor and puddles keep falling on every player. One cell hides a safe, invulnerable spot that only shows when a puddle lands on it. Melee players open cells from the centre and ranged players from the outside. Whoever finds it calls it, and everyone goes in.
Second phase
- Jump rope: the rings come back. Facing Ludra, stand on the right, where a jump and a glide clear them. On the left it takes two jumps.
- Colour split: every player is marked red or blue, and players of different colours hurt each other when they touch. Settle before the pull which side each colour takes, and keep to it.
- The grid: it comes back. Find the safe cell the same way.
- Colour circles: red and blue circles appear before a breath that kills everyone outside them. Step into a circle of your colour with about a second left, not earlier, so its protection lasts until the breath ends.
Why run it
Eternal Ludra drops Ludra’s weapons, Unique at item level 102, one for each weapon type and the guard, the best weapons of this list. Each has a 0.56% chance per kill. The Abyssal accessories, weapons and armour, at item level 86, come more often, with the Abyssal Bracelet and Ring at 2.02%.
With one kill a week, luck matters less than the Ludra Gear Voucher, guaranteed after 4 kills, which turns into Ludra gear with Substance Morph. Every kill also brings Soul Codex, Balaur’s Essence and the Amplify Stone Fragment, and a 30% chance of a Philosopher’s Stone: Revelation, which awakens new power on Soul Bound gear.
