Aion 2 Sorcerer Guide: Build, Stigmas and Daevanion

Global launched with Season 1 and a level cap of 45. The numbers on this page come from top Korean players, who are on a later patch with a higher cap. Only skills, wings and Daevanion boards that exist in the global client are shown, so read the percentages as priorities, not as exact targets.

Quick summary

The Sorcerer is a ranged magic DPS with heavy area damage and a lot of crowd control. In Korean dungeon logs it shares the top of the damage charts with the Assassin. It is fragile and loses a lot of damage whenever a cast is interrupted.

Strengths

Big area magic damage, so dungeons clear fast.
Lots of crowd control, which makes it central to PvP groups.
Range makes boss patterns easier to avoid.

Weaknesses

Thin defenses and few survival tools: vulnerable to ambushes.
Interrupted casts cost a lot of damage.
Demanding to manage (mana and skill order).

Gear upgrade order

Complete the max-level dungeon set.
Main weapon first.
Crit next.
PvE or PvP damage amplification, depending on the content you play most.
Finish with bonus stats, Daevanion, Arcana and titles. Keep mana in mind when choosing options and consumables.

Gameplay tips

Cast timing: start long casts right after a boss pattern ends, not before one.
Crowd control: use it for the group’s benefit, not only to save yourself.
Mana: plan for it in your gear and consumables. Running dry mid-fight is the most common way to lose damage.
