Aion 2 Chanter Guide: Build, Stigmas and Daevanion

Global launched with Season 1 and a level cap of 45. The numbers on this page come from top Korean players, who are on a later patch with a higher cap. Only skills, wings and Daevanion boards that exist in the global client are shown, so read the percentages as priorities, not as exact targets.

Quick summary

The Chanter is a hybrid support with a mace or staff: party buffs (Mantras), off-healing, melee damage and solid durability in one class. Groups are always happy to have one, and it works both solo and in a party. It will never match a specialist at pure healing or pure damage.

Out-healed by Clerics and out-damaged by pure DPS classes.

Gear upgrade order

First decide how you play. Party-focused Chanters lean on survivability and buff upkeep; solo-focused Chanters lean on attack and crit.

Complete the max-level dungeon set.
Swap to the “Splendent” variants of the same quality.
Weapon first.
Manastones and bonus stats to match the direction you chose.
Finish with Daevanion, Arcana and titles.

Gameplay tips

Buffs: have your mantras up before the fight starts and never let them drop. A missing buff costs the whole party.
Read the group: shift between healing and melee damage depending on how the party is doing at that moment.
Positioning: stand right behind the front line, so your buffs reach everyone and you can help quickly in an emergency.

Arcana

The global client has two Arcana sets, Magic and Vigor, with one card of each per slot. Every card carries the stat of one Empyrean Lord. The bars show how many top Korean players stack that stat, so the card with the longer bar is the better pick for that slot.
