Aion 2 Spiritmaster Guide: Build, Stigmas and Daevanion

Quick summary

The Spiritmaster is a summoner that fights alongside a spirit and wears enemies down with damage over time and debuffs. The spirit tanks for you, which makes solo play very safe, and the class is a nasty opponent in duels. It is the least played class among Korean top players, yet in dungeon logs its damage is close to the leaders.

Strengths

Very stable solo hunting, because the spirit tanks.
Strong in 1v1 PvP through stacked damage over time and debuffs.
An awkward matchup that disrupts the enemy’s plan.

Weaknesses

Little burst: fights take longer to finish.
You manage two units at once, the spirit and yourself.
Tends to be undervalued by parties.

Gear upgrade order

Complete the max-level dungeon set.
Attack and crit. They scale your damage over time.
Some HP for PvP. A hybrid setup with moderate HP keeps you alive long enough for your debuffs to work.
Finish with bonus stats, Daevanion, Arcana and titles.

Gameplay tips

Positioning: while the spirit holds aggro, keep adjusting your own position instead of standing still.
Uptime: track your damage-over-time effects and refresh them in priority order. Uptime is your damage.
PvP: play to stack debuffs and outlast the opponent, not to burst them.
